Hello my little ones. I wanted to let you know that I haven’t forgotten about you. A lot has happened to me in real life recently and I just haven’t exactly had the chance to update. I have recently moved into a new apartment and once I have everything settled here I will be updating more frequently again. Here’s a joke to make you smile while waiting for real funny: Q. Why did the seagull fly over the sea? A. Because if it flew over the bay it would be called a bagel!

Here you go all you LoL solo queuers. Yeah, that’s not a word according to my spellcheck, but, hey, I doth declare it to be one so hah! Maybe it’ll make solo queuing a bit fore fun. Probably not. Solo queuing is always sucky.

GO VOTE. This is not a political blog. I’m not going to tell you who to vote for or even who I voted for, but I just want to tell you all that can, please go vote. You have a voice so use it. This is going to be the first and last time that I mention it, but I know that early voting has started in several states. The one thing that I do want to say is that if you don’t vote, but could have, you have absolutely no right to complain about the choices made.

It’s been a while since I’ve posted any music, so here you go. If you’ll notice, I don’t tend to post the songs that everyone knows from albums. I could have simply posted Madness and called it a day. If you know Muse, though, you already likely know that song as it is one of the most well known songs from The 2nd Law. Instead, I’d rather help you discover lesser known songs and/or artists. I will almost never post song “meanings” as I enjoy listening to songs and then finding what they mean to me.

Anyway, about the song. I love Matt Bellamy’s voice, so of course, I’m very biased, but if you weren’t here for my opinions on what is good/funny then you likely wouldn’t be here. And now I’m off topic; story of my life. Muse is a great band and this song has one of my favorite lines in it: “Don’t let the Sun in your heart decay,” and overall just struck a real cord with me.

I have listened to the whole album multiple times and I would definitely recommend it.

Long story short: Good song by a great band, but don’t just take my word for it: listen and find out!

30 Days

Hey everyone, this post is not funny, but rather I hope you find it inspiring. For the past few years I was struggling with addiction. I just wanted you guys to know that today is 30 days clean and sober for me. I am extremely happy with myself so far. I know I couldn’t have done it alone and I want to publicly thank my supporters, and most of all my family. It has been a very long and arduous 30 days without anything in my system, but I believe I love life more now than I ever have. I want to encourage everyone out there who is currently using to try to find someone to help you stop as I know that I almost died several times in my addiction and I don’t want anyone else to have to go through what I (and as a horrifying consequence, my family and friends) went through.
